Kanon Hewitt is a stage manager, designer, producer, playwright, and performer from Tokyo, Japan.
Kanon has created and performed for various international stages including MTV Japan (Tokyo), Benesse (Tokyo), NAO-TA! Produce (Tokyo), the frank theatre company (Vancouver), Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre (Vancouver), Théâtre la Seizième (Vancouver), PuSh International Performing Arts Festival (Vancouver), Queer Arts Festival (Vancouver), Vancouver Fringe Festival (Vancouver), and Ken Dance Company (Los Angeles).
Kanon is a member of Chimerik似不像 Collective lead by acclaimed new media designer Sammy Chien, and certified as a Basic Actor-Combatant with Fight Directors Canada.
Kanon is a graduate of the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of British Columbia.
